Small groups at FMBC are intended to help friends become family, while encouraging the personal transformation of every FMBC member into mature followers of Jesus Christ.

• To prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. (Ephesians 4:12-13)

• Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:18-20)
  
  

Small groups directly contribute to FMBC’s mission in the following ways:

Believe (Helping people believe in Christ):

• FMBC small groups offer an environment of structure and accountability where we can encourage each other to cultivate a personal relationship with God on a daily basis, and provide a forum where we can invite friends and family to hear the Good News of the Gospel.

• FMBC small groups build community, which allows us to interact, encourage, and challenge one another as we seek to walk with Jesus through the joys and hardships of our lives, while reaching out and sharing the Good News of the Gospel.
