We at First Missionary Baptist Church; believe in the great doctrines of Christianity as revealed in the Bible. Here is a summary of those doctrines:

• We believe the Bible to be the inspired word of God, inerrant in the original manuscripts, and authoritative for daily living. We believe that there is one God eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His substitutionary death for our sins, His bodily resurrection and His second coming.








• We believe that all men are sinners by nature and practice, are sentenced to eternal separation from God, and are in need of personal regeneration by faith alone in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. Those who have trusted Christ as their Savior cannot lose their salvation, are indwelt by the Holy Spirit, and enabled to live a godly life through submission to Him.





• We believe that while present on earth, Christ established and commissioned His church. We believe Christ left His church with two ordinances. The first is baptism by immersion in water. The second is the Lord’s Supper, which is a memorial of Christ’s death; observed by self-examined church members.
